Aukera emerged from a simple idea of providing women with beautifully crafted, premium, and affordable lab-grown diamonds. Founded in 2023, the brand is driven by a passion for empowering women to make choices without compromise, aligning their personal desires with their values.

The Challenge

As a relatively new brand specializing in lab-grown diamonds, Aukera aimed to position itself as a leader in ethical and sustainable luxury jewellery. However, the brand struggled to create a website that effectively communicated its values, showcased its exquisite products, and provided a seamless customer experience.

The existing website lacked a cohesive brand identity and failed to capture the essence of Aukera’s modern, responsible approach to fine jewellery. The navigation was unintuitive, making it difficult for visitors to explore the diverse product range or understand the brand’s unique offerings. Additionally, the site’s design did not reflect the luxurious and contemporary image Aukera wanted to project.

Moreover, the website’s performance issues, including slow loading times and a non-optimized mobile experience, hindered customer engagement and reduced the likelihood of conversions. Aukera’s ambition to create a customer-first experience was compromised by technical limitations and inconsistent visual elements, which affected the brand’s credibility and appeal.

How did SimplePlan do it?

SimplePlan helped Aukera by enhancing their website’s design and functionality, making it more user-friendly and visually appealing. They developed key design assets, built an SEO-optimized Shopify website, and crafted engaging copy. The result was a refined digital presence that better represented the brand and its values

Design and Visual Elements

SimplePlan crafted a fully custom UX/UI design tailored to Aukera Jewellery’s unique brand identity. The goal was to build a website that reflected the elegance and sophistication of Aukera’s lab-grown diamond collections while offering an intuitive and seamless browsing experience. 
Beyond visual appeal, SimplePlan focused on usability, ensuring visitors could easily navigate product categories, learn about the brand’s values, and make informed purchasing decisions. To enhance engagement, subtle frontend animations were incorporated, adding a layer of interactivity without overwhelming the user. 

These animations helped highlight key product features and storytelling elements, contributing to a memorable and premium feel. This approach not only improved the overall aesthetic but also reinforced Aukera’s positioning as a modern, ethical jewellery brand.
By aligning design with Aukera’s mission and target audience preferences, SimplePlan created a digital experience that balances beauty with function, inviting customers to explore and connect with the brand on a deeper level.

SimplePlan designed 8 to 10 uniquely styled pages for Aukera’s website, each carefully crafted to support the brand’s storytelling and product showcase goals. These pages maintained a cohesive visual identity while allowing for individual page personality that aligned with Aukera’s premium positioning. Custom iconography and 2D illustrations were created to enrich the user experience, simplifying complex information and adding a refined visual touch.
In addition to static visuals, the website incorporated photo and video integration to bring the jewellery to life online. High-quality images and videos showcased the brilliance, craftsmanship, and detail of Aukera’s lab-grown diamonds, helping customers visualize the products in real settings. This multimedia approach enhanced emotional engagement and reinforced the brand’s commitment to quality and transparency.

Content and SEO Optimization

Understanding the importance of discoverability, SimplePlan implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy during the website’s development. This included pre-launch optimization of content across 30 pages, covering key product pages and main informational sections. The goal was to ensure Aukera’s website would rank well for relevant search terms, increasing organic traffic and driving qualified visitors to the site.

SimplePlan crafted clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy that communicated Aukera’s mission, values, and product benefits effectively. This content not only appealed to search engines but was also designed to resonate with potential customers, building trust and encouraging exploration. The SEO efforts included keyword research, meta tags, and structured content to improve readability and search relevance.
In addition to new content, SimplePlan handled the migration of existing product and informational content from Aukera’s previous website. This careful migration preserved SEO equity and ensured a smooth transition with no loss of product data or valuable content. The combined approach of fresh, optimized copy and strategic migration set Aukera up for long-term digital success.

Shopify Integration and Enhanced Functionality

With strategy and voice in place, we turned our attention to design—creating a visual identity  that could express sensuality without cliché, and boldness without brashness. Our chosen art direction, “Sensually Bold,” informed everything from the logo design to photography style. We designed a flowing yet structured logomark that captured femininity and strength in equal measure. 

The color palette leaned into maroon, beige, burgundy and black with modern accents—deliberately moving away from the sterile look of traditional shapewear brands. Typography was clean, contemporary, and fashion-led, offering balance and versatility. This identity was built to work as beautifully on a care label as on an Instagram grid. 

From moodboards to master files, the system was crafted for consistency, allowing the brand to speak visually with clarity and character. Every choice was intentional, reinforcing Invogue’s positioning as not just a shapewear label—but a movement for modern, body-positive self-styling

Building Consistency Across Every Touchpoint

To streamline Aukera’s e-commerce operations, SimplePlan integrated Shopify into the new website, enabling efficient product management and a smooth shopping experience. Shopify’s powerful backend tools allowed Aukera to easily update inventory, pricing, and product details without technical hurdles, ensuring the site remained current and responsive to business needs.

This integration was designed with both the customer and the brand in mind. For customers, the Shopify-powered site offered easy navigation, clear product categorization, and a secure, straightforward checkout process, all wrapped in Aukera’s elegant design framework. For the Aukera team, the platform simplified order management, sales tracking, and customer communication, freeing them to focus on growth and customer engagement.
